Gamla Skillinge är den äldsta delen av samhället nära hamnen med bebyggelse från 1800-talet. Alla som har en fastighet i gamla Skillinge är medlemmar i skifteslaget. Skillinge Skifteslag har en lång historia. Medlem är boende inom Aslaregärdets område, cirka 85 hushåll. Området begränsas av Killebacksgatan, Aslaregärdet, Bornholmsvägen och Strandgatan. Skifteslaget äger samfälligheten kring Dammen, den gamla tvättinrättning som än idag används på samma sätt som för hundra år sedan. Skillinge Skifteslag arbetar för att bevara den kulturmiljö som de äldsta delarna av Skillinge utgör, till glädje för både boende och besökare.
